Mrs. Claus Storytime

This storytime was for preschoolers and toddlers at my library. We had a very special guest: Mrs. Claus!

Special Guest

Mrs. Claus (Jan Sandwich) was kind enough to travel down from the North Pole and share some stories, magic, songs, and crafts. She told the story of how she once saved Christmas, among others. The kids loved her.

Songs & Rhymes

Song: Pretty Snowflakes
(Tune: London Bridges)
Pretty snowflakes falling down,
Falling down, falling down.
Pretty snowflakes falling down
All through the town.

Pretty snowflakes, on the street,
On the grass, on my feet.
Pretty snowflakes falling down
All through the town.

Games & Activities

Crafts, crafts, crafts all around! While Mrs. Claus painted the kids' faces, other kids could make pipe-cleaner ornaments (snowflake and candycane), make a handprint mitten, or be extra creative with blank Christmas cards. We also had some generic activity pages. It was quite the extravaganza!
